Job Title: Athletic Game Day Worker
Reports to: Athletic Director & Assistant Athletic Director

Primary Purpose:
Game day workers assist in setup, operation, and tear down of athletic events during the sports seasons.
Qualifications:
Education/Certification:
- High School Diploma or GED Preferred
Special Knowledge/Skills:
- Punctuality and attention to detail are critical components of employment.
- Duties may involve lifting up to 50 pounds and working in extremely warm or cold elements outdoors.
- Schedule flexibility – Hours vary depending upon scheduled contest.
Major Responsibilities and Duties:
- Setup of field or court for games.
- Provide assistance during contest in areas such as concessions, ticket operations, and sport specific activities (e.g., ball shagging, equipment operations).
- Workers are required to assist with post-game tear down, clean up and securing of equipment.
- Assistance may also be required for athletic or institutional event specific activities before, during, or immediately following contests.
